About

The Great Escape is the result of our passion for couples to retreat from the daily distractions of life that interfere with oneness in marriage. It is our desire to provide a peaceful, relaxing, and educational weekend that allows couples to focus on their spouse, and remind them why they married each other! We have found that it is necessary for us to leave town in order to really focus on our marriage without interruptions from the phone, the kids, the pets, and everyday life. Even the drive to and from the conference has proven to be a valuable time for us to discuss strengths and weaknesses in our own marriage, and improvements we can make in the future. In addition to reconnecting with your spouse, you have the opportunity to build friendships with other like-minded couples.

This is an investment for your lifetime together.

In our 26 years of marriage we have looked forward to our annual Valentine weekend get-aways. The wisdom we have gained from the speakers and other married couples has enhanced our relationship, contributing to the strong marriage we have today.

Mark your calendars for the weekend of February 13th-14th, 2010 for this years Great Escape!

We hope you will join us for this fun, romantic, and encouraging weekend, and look forward to seeing you at the lake!
